RT8128A/C 是用于笔记本电脑的 CPU 内核、I/O 系统和 RAM 供电的高效 PWM 控制器，具有卓越的瞬态响应特性和高输出电压精度。特别设计的 Richtek Mach ResponseTM 技术对负载的瞬变过程具有 100ns 的“即时”响应能力，同时还能维持相对恒定的开关切换频率。与传统的电流模式 PWM 相比，RT8128A/C 省略了对电流检测电阻的需求，既降低了成本，又提高了效率。效率的进一步改善还表现在它所具有的驱动大型同步整流 MOSFET 的能力上，使之可以很高的效率直接将来自电池的高电压转换为系统所需的低电压，可为 CPU 内核、芯片组、DRAM 和其它低压组件提供低达 0.6V 的电压。
